The Chevy Chase Lake community came alive on Saturday, June 3, with the highly anticipated “Town Square Soiree.” This event celebrated the grand opening of the Town Square and showcased the retailers nestled within the neighborhood. With around 250 attendees, it was a resounding success!

From 2pm to 6pm, guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with excitement and entertainment. They personalized their own stemless Chevy Chase Lake wine glasses at the live engraving station, creating delightful keepsakes.

Ridgewells, the local caterer, delighted taste buds with an array of delectable desserts. Mini cheesecakes, pies, and an assortment of cookies satisfied every sweet tooth. Elena James provided mouthwatering samples of lamb flatbreads, chilled gazpacho, and crab soup, giving attendees a sneak peek of the culinary delights to come.

Local R&B and pop band “Too Much Talent” set the festive atmosphere, turning the event into a lively block party. UnCorked, the wine sponsor, pampered wine enthusiasts with a variety of wines. Guests enjoyed wine samplings and had the option to order a full glass of their preferred selection.
